About me
I’m in my own inner world when I’m weaving. I only let the people and the feelings in that I choose, those that bring harmony in my life.
My mother tought me the basics of embroidery, knitting and crocheting when I was a child. Through the are of embroidery, I learned about the diverse patterns of different landscape regions. I liked to draw and enjoyed pottery. Since there was no loom around me growing up, I never thought of textile production.
To me, weaving is like painting a picture. It might look like an easy process from the outside, but it wouldn’t be true. With a 200×50 cm shawl, I want to tell a story, express a feeling, and more than anything, create harmony. It is an uplifting experience when through the production process, a colour or a pattern awakens a memory inside me, and I can re-live the memory until the shawl is finished.

Many times I make custom scarves for orders. I love these assignments because they need to be tuned to the man for whom the scarf is made. I try to get my feelings into the weaving miracle.
I use natural ingredients. I work with cotton, linen, wool, alpaca and silk. Mostly I use hand-dyed individual yarns for weaving. As a result, I create unique scarves, I can’t do the same twice.
Besides weaving, spinning is a very important activity in my work. I usually work with merino ribbon wool.I often buy hand-painted ribbon wool.In addition, I learn the art of color mixing so that I can mix colors that I imagined.I like to follow the process while the white ribbon wool turns into a beautiful woolen shawl.
My goal is to master as many techniques I can. I would like to make videos in the future, since learning videos are usually not available in Hungarian.
